FILE SPECS

Please send original design files in either Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator. Include all fonts and linked high-res images required to output the files. If layered Photoshop files are available, please include them as well.

 

You can reduce the size of large Illustrator documents by saving as an .ai file and unchecking "create PDF compatible file" in the save dialog box. Saving as a PDF or a PDF compatible file will significantly increase the size of your file, resulting in longer transmission times.

 

Do not embed files; link them and send the originals with your mechanical. We cannot access linked files to color correct, re-touch, create spot separations, or do other required work.

 

If you have engineering drawings available, please send them as well. Our preferred file format is .ARD (Artios Cad), but we can also accept DXF or Illustrator files.

 

 

 

FILE TRANSMISSION

Smaller files (under 20 MB) can be e-mailed directly to our Prepress Department.

 

If you have your own FTP site, you can place the files on your FTP and forward the address, username, and password to our Prepress Department so we can download the files.

 

If you would prefer to use our FTP site, e-mail our Prepress department, and we will set up a dedicated FTP site for your company. We will forward the confidential login credentials to you, ensuring that your work is secure from any of our other clients.
