Proofing Services

DIGITAL PROOFING

Ideal for domestic offset or large format printing, our digital proofing is accurate and on-the mark. Inexpensive, yet calibrated to Gracol 7 standards, these proofs are ideal for most graphic needs. When digital printing is the end product, we can proof on the production medium, enabling our customers to approve graphics, color, and material simultaneously.

HALFTONE DOT PROOFS

Our Halftone Dot Proof technology is ideal for printing that must be extremely color accurate, or when printing overseas. This technology uses a halftone dot, rendered at the same line screen, angle and shape as your printing company will use. This ensures that the press operator not only has a realistic target, but also has the ability to examine the proof dot-for-dot to see where any press adjustments need to be made.

Halftone dot proofs are also the best way to proof on foil, acetate, or other specialty materials. We have the ability to lay down white ink along with the CMYK, so you can test your design to determine if your white plate effects are giving you the look you desire. See our Case Study for Foil Proofing here.

PRESS PROOFS

Most often used when employing color bump technology, a press proof is similar to a halftone dot proof, but enables us to proof the effects of any spot color mixed into process.

DISPLAY PROTOTYPES & PACKAGE COMPS

We can take our proofing capabilities one step further to offer Display Prototypes or Package Comps. See exactly how your end product will look before production begins, or take your piece to the retail buyer to finalize your sale. Learn more about display prototypes here, and about package comps here.
