FOIL PRINTING
Foil printing has emerged in recent years as a preferred way of attracting consumer attention to your product. It is most often used on product packaging, but many manufacturers are starting to think outside
the box—using foil to create attention-grabbing graphics on displays or in-store signage. Our team of prepress professionals is trained to make foil printing look its best. We have experience building white plates to maximize the foil effect, precisely placing white in various densities to create a range of foil effects. If you already have experience building white plates, read more about our halftone dot proofing on foil here, or read a case study where foil proofing helps a major toy retailer adjust their designs for maximum affect before printing in China (click here).
COLOR BUMP
Color Bump is the process of adding custom spot colors to CMYK to create a wider gamut of colors than is typically achievable with standard CMYK. This is often done by adding colors such as orange, green, or violet, but our techs have experience adding in any color you require. Any spot color which falls outside the CMYK color gamut can be used. The resulting variety of hues is key to the success of many package or POP displays — the vibrant colors help attract and hold consumer interest or accurately depict the product being sold.
